Talk about Why charity is important?

Another beautiful interaction that will help parents to teach and inculcate awareness about their role in making the world a better place is about ‘charity.’

Ask them if I give you a 1000 INR/- who would you like to give it to? Why?
Let them figure out the best way to spend it & give back to society

When we asked a few children the same question, we received varying responses like:

a) Let’s help our maid
b) Let’s collect a larger sum & give it to an organization
c) Let’s donate it for the welfare of ‘old’ people

The intention is to make them think of ways on how can they give back to society and make a difference.
