Quality of sharing

Another beautiful interaction that will help parents to connect, teach and inculcate a sense of gratitude among children is on ‘sharing’

When we bring up sharing or giving in our conversations we try to make our kids understand things like:

a) How blessed they are?

b) Teach about the economic disparity

c) Get them to empathize

How do we do this?

a) Take them on a drive to distribute blankets to the needy

b) Get them to serve food to the less privileged

c) Take them to an orphanage or an old age home.

The intention is to make them feel humbled, develop a drive to give back to the community and always have gratitude towards life.
